NASA’s ethos was reflected in its rockets, rovers, and data. Of course, that was during the scientific era that perished when we arrived on Mars. An age before they colonized Europa and conjured millions of miles of treacherous borders. Invisible lines streaked across an unfathomable and unguarded space that only brewed discord. Conflicts that sought to starve their neighbors like vermin, blockading their food and fuel. As Bastiat said, “when goods don’t cross borders, soldiers will.”
